Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is DPC and how can I benefit from this kind of healthcare?

What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a revolutionary healthcare model that prioritizes a direct and personal relationship between you and your primary care physician. Unlike traditional healthcare systems, DPC eliminates the interference of insurance companies, allowing you to make healthcare decisions collaboratively with your doctor.

With transparent and predictable pricing, you'll experience no copays or hidden fees, ensuring a clear understanding of the cost of your care.

How do I benefit from a DPC Membership with BluegrassMD?

Your membership fee covers services like annual physicals, chronic disease management, wellness education, weight management, and coordination of care with specialists, when needed. There are no co-pays and you will get to take advantage of wholesale-priced labs.

Membership fees allow Dr. Stanton to limit the number of patients she sees, thus allowing more time for providing comprehensive and personalized care. Office visits will be longer, your wait times will be significantly shorter and you will leave happier in pursuit of a healthier lifestyle.

I've heard of concierge medicine before. Is it the same?

Direct primary care and concierge care are both healthcare models that emphasize a more personalized and patient-centric approach, but they differ in their operational structures. DPC is more affordable and does not bill insurance.

I still need a little more information. Can you provide resources?
