Dr. Donna Stanton, MD
Dr. Donna Stanton, MD is a seasoned healthcare professional with a rich background in both internal medicine and pediatrics. Having completed a dual residency at UK in 2008, Dr. Stanton brings nearly two decades of experience in primary care, catering to both adult internal medicine and pediatric patients. Prior to entering the medical field, Dr. Stanton earned an undergraduate degree in exercise science and nutrition, showcasing a holistic approach to health.

Having completed a dual residency at UK in 2008, Dr. Stanton brings nearly two decades of experience in primary care, catering to both adult internal medicine and pediatric patients. Prior to entering the medical field, Dr. Stanton earned an undergraduate degree in exercise science and nutrition, showcasing a holistic approach to health.
With a unique blend of expertise as a personal trainer and Vanderbilt exercise physiologist for five years before attending medical school at Eastern Tennessee State University, Dr. Stanton has developed a passion for promoting overall well-being. Specializing in cholesterol management, weight control, nutrition, and lifestyle counseling, Dr. Stanton is dedicated to empowering patients with preventive strategies and personalized care.
Beyond the medical realm, Dr. Stanton leads a fulfilling personal life as a parent to two teenagers and a proud owner of two dogs, two horses, and a cat. Dr. Stanton and her spouse, an ER physician, are deeply rooted in the healthcare community. Outside of work, the family enjoys travel and actively participates in their local community, and attends Southland Christian Church.
Board-certified in both adult internal medicine by ABIM and pediatrics by ABP, Dr. Stanton embodies a commitment to comprehensive, compassionate healthcare for individuals and families alike.

We currently provide our services to Lexington and Nicholasville.
We are open to accepting patients for telehealth services who reside in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Since we do not accept medical insurance, we are free to see all patients that seek our services. We believe that prevention is key to maintaining overall health. We can offer comprehensive physical exams, use remote monitoring, order lab tests, vaccinations, and even personalized home visits.
Many conditions can be met with an in-home or telehealth visit, but if you'd rather opt for a visit to our office, we can accommodate that as well.

These rates cover consultation and sending in prescriptions. Does not cover follow-up, procedures, tests, or referrals
House Calls
$300+ / depending on distance, time of day/night, holidays, and weekends
Virtual Visit
$150 / 20 minutes (Directly with Dr. Stanton)

*Consultations will NOT involve ANY controlled substances or pain medications
*Consultation fee will be refunded less $50 convenience fee if it is determined on initial assessment that the patient needs
